A Steve Nace Racing Promotion
July 14 was the rescheduled date for the rained-out June 16 event. It would have been easy to cancel the event in June, without rescheduling it. All of the racers, sponsors and fans had already sacrificed enough this year due to one rained out event after another. PMC officials felt the need and had the desire to give everyone a chance to race. So, we rescheduled the event for Sunday, July 14.
Event though it presented an opportunity for those who could attend - racers and fans alike - the rescheduled date conflicted many people’s plans. Attendance was lighter than usual on the hillsides and in the pits. But, everyone there saw some very good racing, and a track surface that ranked among the very best ever seen at PMC Race Park. Here’s how things shook out at the end of the day.
